爭入聖保羅

I studied in Hong Kong for  years before I went aboard,I was in St.Paul Co-Ed since grade one.During all those years I didn’t notice anything so special about our school, other than our outstanding music program(I learned cello from school).

When parents say they want to send their kids to ‘good’ school, how do they define good in this case?Personally I wouldn’t send my kid to SPPC even if I’m still in HK.It is such a competitive environment,if you are smart or especially good at any sport/music,you are the star students;on the contrary you get no extra attention from anyone.I’d seen someone from the same class leaving the school because she is not special enough to be someone,so she got boycott by the class.Furthermore, the class teacher at the time knows about it and do nothing to help her.How is it a good environment for kids to learn?Hence I don’t understand why it is such a catch for parents nowadays.

As a parent we all wanted to give the best to our kid, help them build the foundation for a bright future, but sometimes what kids needed the most is not a top school nor a huge education fund.It is us,the amount of time we spend on them, the things we teach them, and the example we set for them.

The ideal education for kid is in Finland.Read this if you have time,
